Voiceprint Technology wins Supporting Role in Hollywood Movie

Spectrogram, the software foundation for Vocal Innovation's VoiceprintTM & Clinical program line, can be seen analyzing voices in the Oscar nominated movie, "Michael Clayton."  Richard Horne, Vocal Innovations partner and software developer, was surprised when the acoustic analysis program made its entrance. "There are scenes in the movie that made me sit bolt upright when I recognized that they were using my Spectrogram program," said Horne. The scene is the interior of a surveillance van, and Spectrogram is being used on a laptop to secretly monitor telephone conversations. The software gets no more than a few seconds of visibility, but Richard Horne was pleased to finally see his little screen light up the big screen. Get a brief glimpse of Spectrogram (fast forward to 1:07) in the movie trailer on YouTube at  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHckVQm4cW0.
